Bellatrix! - Jackson JS32 Warrior Satin Black 2019

Some guitars are designed to sit politely on a stand in the corner of the room.

Bellatrix appears to have been designed to prevent anybody else from sitting in the room at all.

This 2019 Jackson JS Series Warrior JS32 is finished in Satin Black and has survived in genuinely exceptional condition. That is particularly impressive on a Warrior, where the abundance of long, sharp points normally provides plenty of opportunities for encounters with doors, amplifiers, furniture and floors.

Bellatrix appears to have avoided all of them.

In fact, she has been treated so carefully that the original protective plastic remains on the rear cavity covers. After surviving there for seven years, we have decided that removing it is a privilege best left to her next owner.

Beneath the unmistakable Warrior body is a 25.5-inch scale instrument with a bolt-on maple speed neck reinforced with graphite for stability. The bound compound-radius fingerboard runs from 12 inches at the nut to 16 inches further up the neck, carrying 24 jumbo frets and Jackson’s distinctive pearloid sharkfin inlays.

A pair of Jackson high-output zebra humbuckers provides the noise, controlled through a three-way toggle, master volume and master tone. They deliver the aggressive, articulate output the Warrior’s appearance suggests, particularly when paired with plenty of gain.

At the bridge is a Jackson licensed double-locking tremolo, paired with a locking nut and Jackson sealed die-cast tuners. It is a system designed for everything from subtle vibrato to significantly less responsible behaviour.

Condition is where Bellatrix becomes particularly special. The Satin Black finish presents beautifully, the neck is exceptionally clean and the notoriously vulnerable points have escaped the damage so commonly found on used Warriors.

She also comes with her fitted Jackson moulded hard case, rather than an aftermarket bag or generic case. Her tremolo arm and original bag of tools and accessories are included too.

Before adoption, Bellatrix has been through our workshop for a full health check and setup, including fret levelling, crowning and polishing.

She is exceptionally clean, completely unapologetic and comes in what can only reasonably be described as her own enormous Jackson sarcophagus.

Bellatrix is ready for adoption.
