Some of our best memories were made in rehearsal rooms with our friends, feeling like rock stars for a few hours and dreaming big. A first guitar. A first amp. That moment when everything clicks and you realise 'I can actually do this'.
Music has the power to change lives. It builds confidence, sparks creativity, forges friendships, and gives young people somewhere to belong. We know this, because it did all of those things for us.
But we also know that getting started isn't always easy. Instruments cost money. Times are hard. And far too many kids who would love to play never get the chance simply because the barrier to entry is too high.
That's something we want to change.
The Mini Moshers Promise is our commitment that for every 50 guitars we rescue, restore, and rehome, we will give one aspiring young musician absolutely everything they need to begin their musical journey, completely free of charge.
Not just a guitar. Everything.
- 🎸 A guitar
- 🔊 An amplifier
- 🎵 A guitar cable
- 🎸 A guitar stand
- 🎒 A gig bag
- 🎵 Guitar picks
- 🙉 Ear plugs
Every single thing they need to plug in, turn up, and make some glorious noise.
Because all children should be able to access the arts. Because the next generation of musicians, creators, and dreamers deserves every opportunity. And because every little rocker deserves their moment. 🤘
This isn't a one-off. As The Stray Chord grows, so does our promise. Every guitar that finds its forever home brings us one step closer to putting an instrument in the hands of a child who needs it. You're not just rehoming a guitar, you're helping us keep this promise.
