The SA Series was designed to offer something of a middle ground between the familiar comfort of a traditional double-cutaway guitar and the slimmer, faster feel for which Ibanez has become rather well known.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe result is a wonderfully comfortable instrument that doesn’t demand you develop the wrist flexibility of a professional contortionist.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHer HSS pickup configuration pairs two single coils, delivering brighter, clearer tones, with a bridge humbucker that brings a little more muscle when things get heavier. A five-way selector, master volume and tone controls provide plenty of sonic options without making things unnecessarily complicated.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThere’s also an Ibanez tremolo bridge for adding a little movement and expression to your playing, without requiring an advanced engineering qualification every time you want to change the strings.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe recessed output jack is another neat little design touch, keeping the cable tucked away rather than sticking out of the front of the guitar.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs with all our strays, Calista has received our usual workshop treatment, including fret levelling, crowning and polishing, a thorough clean, and a full setup to ensure she’s ready for her next adventure.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHaving been played and enjoyed, she does have some cosmetic signs of her previous life, including light surface marks and scratches.
